Hello! My name is Jeleel Soaga, and I'm here to tell you about my Arrupe College experience.

How I chose my degree:
I wanted to pursue computer science.

My plans after graduation:
I will be continuing at Loyola University Chicago.

What class did you never expect to love? What was great about it?
I loved my first-year philosophy class with Dr. Raees. I’ve always loved thinking about the world and why things happen. I was intimidated because it was my very first class in college. It was very reading-intensive, but I enjoyed writing papers because I was so passionate about the topics.

Where is your favorite place on Loyola's campus and why?
Halas in the Damien Student Center. I love getting a quick lift when I can, and I play a lot of basketball with current students, alums, faculty, and staff from Arrupe.

What are some surprisingly cool things about Arrupe?
Something surprisingly cool about Arrupe is how everything is under one roof. You have access to faculty and staff. Many students stay after classes to connect with each other and join clubs. It also contains the Arrupe market. It is a free service that many students can pick up food and hygiene supplies.
